Origin Story

RadShare.net was born out of necessity during the 2020 pandemic. As a first-year radiology resident, I found myself isolated from attendings who were scattered in remote reading rooms. In-person teaching and case conferences became impossible overnight.

Sharing cases remotely was clunky—everyone had a different method. We needed a simple way to share and learn from cases without the complexity.

The Problem

Remote learning was challenging with attendings scattered and no standardized way to share cases.

The Solution

A quality improvement project: a simple screen snip-and-paste case-sharing website anyone could use.

So I built RadShare.net as a quality improvement project—no convoluted DICOM uploads, no excessive steps. Just a straightforward, screen snip-and-paste case-sharing website that anyone could use.

It worked even better than I hoped. The simplicity of grabbing a quick screenshot and writing about interesting cases made learning easy and enjoyable. More importantly, writing about each case made me learn the material far better than I would have otherwise. Putting my name on cases added accountability, pushing me to ensure accuracy and thoroughness.

Mission & Purpose

RadShare continues to grow for two main reasons:

Learning Through Teaching

Creating and sharing cases deepens understanding. When you document findings and discuss differentials, you master the material in ways passive learning can't match. If you've taught it, you truly know it.

Helping Others

Sharing knowledge freely with the global radiology community. Good knowledge deserves to be shared freely and easily.

Our Focus

  • Providing practical resources for radiologists and trainees
  • Specializing in musculoskeletal and general imaging
  • Delivering clear, concise information that helps with accurate diagnoses

"RadShare aims to be the bridge connecting radiologists with the best educational resources, while building its own valuable collection of cases, tools, and content."

Future Vision

As RadShare.net grows, our goal remains the same: to be maximally useful for the people on the front lines of radiology.

Complementary Resource

Positioning alongside established platforms like Radiopaedia

Expanding Focus

Growing from MSK to other radiology subspecialties

Community Building

Fostering contributions and engagement

The "Hype Man" for Radiology Education

We're positioning RadShare as the connector—linking users with the best resources while building our own library of cases and tools that complement what's already out there.

If you find the site helpful, share it with your colleagues. Welcome to RadShare.net!
