Structured radiology report template for a routine ultrasound of the abdomen. Included sections are the liver, gallbladder, bile ducts, pancreas, right kidney, left kidney, spleen, aorta, IVC, and abdominal fluid.

TECHNIQUE:
The abdomen was scanned in standard fashion with specialized ultrasound transducer(s) using both gray-scale and limited color Doppler techniques.

FINDINGS:

Liver: Normal parenchymal echotexture and echogenicity. No focal hepatic mass.

Gallbladder: No cholelithiasis, wall thickening, or pericholecystic fluid. Negative sonographic Murphy's sign.

Bile Ducts: No intrahepatic biliary ductal dilation. The common bile duct measures [  ] cm.

Pancreas: Visualized portions of the head and body of the pancreas are unremarkable.

Right Kidney: Normal parenchymal echogenicity. No masses or calculi. No hydronephrosis.

Left Kidney: Normal parenchymal echogenicity. No masses or calculi. No hydronephrosis.

Spleen: Normal.

Aorta and IVC: Unremarkable.

Fluid: No evidence of ascites or pleural effusions.

IMPRESSION:
Normal abdominal ultrasound.
